In other news, the best performing stock in the S&P 500 today was FDO, Family Dollar Stores which closed up $3.39 to $30.66 for a whopping 12.43% gain while the index closed down 4.25%.  FDO is the discount retailer known for selling items priced at a dollar or less.  Maybe they’ll start selling stock of other S&P 500 members noted above.
